An imaginary nautical
chart showing Darke House and the surrounding
area
|
Hi and Welcome, |
|
What began as sudden,
delightful inspiration -- a New
England ghost story that just popped
into my head and got scribbled down,
and then typed up, and now published
as Darke House the novel, is
turning into Darke House the
series. A sequel (Summerland)
is in the editing queue at Rock
Publishing, and a third (Princess
Lane) is a work in progress.
They've all got ghosts but -- even
though ghost stories get lumped into
the "horror" category by folks to
whom genre categories are important
-- my stories aren't intended to be
horror. Or creepy. Or even dark.
Well, maybe a little dark.
What, then? Strange?
Absolutely. Bizarre? So I've been
told. Entertaining? I hope so.
I've learned one
thing about being a writer -- it's a
wonderful way to connect with
people, and that's something I truly
enjoy. So, I invite you to click
"enter" and step into my world...
